Introduction

PSN is an organization of the Nepalese physiologists who have keen interest in career, education, and research related to physiology in Nepal. Established in November 2010, PSN is associated with several international organizations such as South Asian Association of Physiologists (SAAP), International Union of Physiological Societies (IUPS), and Federation of Asian and Oceanian Physiological Societies (FAOPS). Since its establishment, the society has organized two international conferences.

PSN was finally registered with the District Administration Office – Kathmandu of the Government of Nepal as a social, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization on 9th May, 2016 (2073-01-27 BS).

PSN aims to upgrade the knowledge and skill of physiologists in Nepal. It conducts activities such as teaching workshops, national and international conferences, exchange programs. It also acts to promote individual and collaborative research works, participation in international platforms, and publishing scholarly works of its members.
